The Keys to Security
Detecting Intruders
The first priority of your Legacy Security system is to detect intruders. There are a variety of different detection methods, the most common are outlined below.
Magnetic Contacts – They’re installed at doors and windows to detect unauthorized entry and sound an alarm.
Motion Sensors – These interior protection devices detect movement and sound an alarm if there is unauthorized entry.
Glassbreak Detectors – They detect the sound of breaking glass and sound an alarm before an intruder gains entry.
Summoning Assistance
24 Hour Monitoring - Professionally trained operators will be available to handle your system's emergency call. Within moments of your system triggering an alarm our operators will summon the proper emergency assistance (fire, medical, or police). They will also be trying to contact you via home phone, cellular phone, text message, or email.
Sirens/Strobes - Being alerted in the event of an emergency is a major part of your security system. Legacy Security Technology offers a range or audible and visual notification devices. High volume indoor and outdoor sirens, voice annunciation speakers, and ultra bright strobe lights.
Controlling your System
Keypad
– It’s a simple numeric keypad for inputting
access codes. Also has function keys for arming your
system and emergency keys.
Telephone - Most Legacy Security Technology systems can be accessed remotely by telephone. When dialed in you can check the arming status, turn lights on/off, arm or disarm the system, and even talk through on-site speakers.
Internet - Through Legacy Security Technology's Guardian Angel service you can control all the functions of your system. Even program special events and notifications. You can also view up to sixty days of event history from any computer or pda with internet access.
