Legacy Security Guardian Angel systems do not rely on a landline telephone or Internet connection to communicate critical alarm signals to an offsite monitoring center. Many intruders know that by cutting the phone line, they can disable communication from a traditional security system to the central monitoring station. Even systems that use the home's broadband Internet connection can be disabled by cutting the primary communication path into the house.
With Guardian Angel's wireless technology, alarm signals are immediately transmitted through a dedicated wireless connection from the security system to the Operations Center, and are routed from there to the central monitoring station for emergency notification and dispatch. There is no threat that your security will be compromised by a line-cut when you use Legacy Security's Guardian Angel Service.
Most of your security system settings can be managed through a user-friendly website interface. That means you don't have to learn how to program your system using a complicated touchpad. Because the main user interface is a website, Guardian Angel is able to offer many advanced features that wouldn't be feasible through a touchpad. Through the Guardian Angel website, you can see current system status, access 60 days of system event history, arm or disarm the system, create and change user access codes, program lights to turn on when a specific sensors opens or on a schedule, control your thermostat, set up custom e-mail, text(sms) and phone notifications, and much more.
